Wonderfully Restored California Car, One of the Sweetest Driving Cars Ever

As the collector car market keeps moving into the stratosphere, there are few collector cars that a mere mortal can afford. One of the coolest cars that still fits the category are the Alfa GTVs. These cars were exceptionally well built, sporting to drive, stout enough to put up with hard use, and not hard on the pocketbook to keep up. They make wonderful noise and cruise effortlessly at highway speeds.

This car received a bare metal repaint in 2013. Photographs confirm the body was straight and rust free. About the same time as the paint work, the soft trim was updated with new upholstery, headliner, carpet and rubber seals. Upgraded Campagnolo wheels top off the high quality cosmetic restoration.

Mechanically, this GTV has been attended to by Alfa Performance Connection in Orange, California. They have rebuilt the suspension and upgraded to shocks with new Konis. The engine has been serviced with a new head gasket, new water pump, and fuel hoses. The clutch has also been replaced. Turn the key and the engine immediately comes to life and idles smoothly. The engine is quite responsive and the legendary GTV transmission a delight to shift.
