A time capsule Carrera 4 Cab with 16,500 original miles

The Porsche 993s are truly a special series in the 911 saga. An upgraded engine, redesigned drivetrain on the Carrera 4, an extra gear added to make a 6-speed, and the aesthetic refinements that make this model one of the most iconic of the Porsches.

The 3.6L flat 6 was refined from the 964 and would be the last of the air cooled engines. For the '96-'98 models, the motor was fitted with the Vario-cam induction that boosted the hp an additional 12 ponies from 272 to 284bhp. Carrera 4 AWD drivetrains would also have a design change that simplified the original 964 mechanical system to a viscous fluid coupling that made the handling much smoother. Along with the drivetrain came a new multilink rear suspension that further increased driver comfort and handling characteristics. The upright headlights were finally replaced for more aerodynamic angled lights and wider rear fenders gave the 911 a newer modern aggressive look.

Our 993 Carrera 4 Cab comes from its second owner in Miami. A gorgeous guards red over palomino interior, this car is an extremely well cared for example with lots of extra parts and accessories. A binder is available with lots of records and information on the car and boxes are present with all the original parts and multiple covers for exterior or garage use.
