What's better than a Daytona Coupe? A Daytona Spider of course. Unfortunately Ferrari only built 122 Spiders and their value is stratospheric. Unable to get their hands on a real Daytona Spider, many enthusiasts turned to converting a Daytona Coupe into a Daytona Spider as a way to enjoy the open top Daytona experience.

Our car is one of the Daytonas Spiders that started off as a Coupe. The conversion was done in Europe back in the early 1980s. It is black with a black interior and is one of the last Daytonas produced.

In 2011 it received a mechanical freshening with new suspension bushing, new shocks, new exhaust, and a tune-up. Subsequent to that work, the engine and transaxle have been rebuilt.

A cool evening drive in a top down Daytona Spider is one of the great experiences of the automotive world.
