1968 Ford Mustang C code Coupe
"WOW!" This is what our lead tech said after performing the initial check-over and test drive of this wonderful 68 Mustang Coupe. He said, "This car is tight and just does everything right." This comes from someone who works on hundreds of cars a year.
The Marti Report shows this beauty began life at the Metuchen assembly plant in Edison, New Jersey. It was ordered via the Charlotte District Sales Office for Walker Ford in Agusta Georgia. It was nicely equipped with a center console, tinted glass, deluxe seat belts, and a remote left-hand mirror. Of course, the 289 V-8 with the C-4 Select-Shift automatic transmission was also very desirable.
Today, the car sits very straight and has some very nice upgrades. Both Power-Steering and Air Conditioning make for a really comfortable driving car. The modern BFG Radial T/A tires make for a great driving car. Power comes from a period-correct 289 V8 that has an Edlebrock intake manifold and a Holley 4-barrel carburetor. Electronic ignition also adds a big degree of reliability. The engine has been dressed nicely with Edelbrock valve covers and a chrome air filter. The clean engine compartment also shows off a chrome chassis bar that helps make this a tight driver.
This example really falls into the collectible driver category as it looks great and is a car that you could drive daily. Give us a call to hear more.
