It was the hope of Ferrari that the 308 would be the car that more people could experience. The price level was in direct competition with the Porsche 911 which was a much higher production car. The 308 was a mid-engine driving experience that immediately made the 911 outdated.

This beautiful example has endured a single Concours quality re-spray in the original Grigio Ferro Metallic color. The rest of this GTB shows as a wonderfully pampered car with all original interior. Look closely and you will see there has never been any abuse. Behind the wheel, you find that the aforementioned driving experience is simply fantastic. The B in GTB stands for Berlinetta. These were traditionally the driver's car. The hard roof makes for a very rigid chassis that computes to fantastic handling. The lines of the car are also not interrupted. The look flows from front to rear in a wonderful way that has never been replicated to the day.
