Did you know the 1971-1989 R107 series Mercedes-Benz SLs were the only Mercedes roadsters available during the entire R107 production. Concern over safety standards and a dwindling demand caused Mercedes to phase out their wonderful 4 place Mercedes Cabriolets just as the R107 SLs were being phased in. It wasn't until 1990 when the 1990 300 CE was introduced hat Mercedes resumed building cabriolets

Our 560 SL is a final year, 1989 model. It is the most collectable of all the R107 models. The 560's were powered by a 5.6 liter aluminum V-8, the most powerful engine used in the series. The 560 SLs are exceptionally well built and luxurious.

Our car was delivered new on March 31st 1989 by Mercedes Benz of Hollywood California. It was sold new to a lady in Los Angeles. The title shows it came to Florida from California in 1996 with 11,600 miles. That owner kept the car at least 23 years until we purchased it.

The car is in completely original condition with an unused spare, full set of books, window sticker, first aid kit, and tools. It has the original wheels, original Becker stereo, and no modifications.

This car has only been driven an average of 700 miles a year. It has been well kept and is in excellent condition. There can't be more than a few 21,000 or less mile 560 SLs left on the planet. The number of ultra-low mile final year, 1989 models, has to be much fewer.
