The Triumph Spitfire was designed to compete against the Austin Healey Sprite and MG Midget in the entry level sports car market. Priced in the UK at roughly £550 ($660), the Spitfire was the first sports car of many enthusiasts. While the Spigets were in-house designs and didn't even have roll up windows, The Spitfire was designed by Giovanni Michelotti, designer of many important Italian exotics and was better appointed.

Our car came to us from a lady who discovered the car after an extensive search. She picked it due to the owner's thorough documentation of past service. Unfortunately, she has had to relocate and part with the car.

With the understanding that inexpensive sports cars are rated to a less critical standard, the body, paint, and chrome are in nice condition. The seats have been reupholstered and look nice also. Mechanically the car runs and drives well.

The car features a classic Moto Lita wood steering wheel and period radio.
