When Pinninfarina designs automobiles, the flow of the pen begins in long sweeping strokes. As with most Berlinettas, the lines sweep in a most elegant way that makes the car seem to be in motion even as it sits still.
This is not lost on the 328 GTB. Unlike the GTS, the body flow is consistent in shape and color from front to back. The benefits of the GTB design go beyond just beautiful styling. First thing is structural stiffness.
There is significantly less chassis flex when the roof structure caries on from the windshield back. Review visibility is also enhanced with rear quarter windows. Most noticeably is the cockpit size. The seats can be
extended all the way back to the rear bulkhead because there is no need to store a Targa roof. There is also additional headroom. The GTB is really a Driver's car as you can take comfort in the previously mentioned chassis rigidity.
