The idea for Kirkham Motorsports was born in 1994 & inspired by a jet purchased by the brother in law of David Kirkham. Yes we said Jet. Frustrated by the cost of maintaining his own Cobra, David's mission was to build outstanding reproductions. By total coincidence David was asked to repair a Polish Fighter Jet that had been damaged during delivery to the US. Upon inspection of the Jet David noticed the uncanny resemblance to the construction of his CSX3104. Without hesitation, David tracked down the manufacturer in Poland and faxed them a note that read as follows: “Can you guys build an aluminum bodied car?”. Very shortly thereafter a simple response read “No problem” and the rest is history. Kirkham combines beautifully crafted aluminum bodies with modern day technology producing some of the finest recreations available.
