The Ferrari 348 Spider is a 90s icon when it comes to exotics from that era. With its unmistakable Pininfarina design this mid engine V8 Ferrari would become an instant classic. The 348 Spider used a steel and aluminum body with a canvas top which was fitted perfectly to fit the cars lines. The 348 is powered by a 3.4 liter (3405cc) flat plane crank V8 fitted with twin overhead cams featuring 4 valves per cylinder producing 320 horsepower, an impressive number for 1994. For the 1994 model Ferrari opted to put a less muffling exhaust system on the Spider for a more enjoyable engine note during top down driving. Also for 1994 the gear box ratio was changed from 1.09:1 to 1.22:1 and the tires are set nearly 2 inches further apart in the rear for improved handling.
