Motorcycle blog ST2 describes the Triumph Thruxton as “arguably the most iconic Cafe Racer of all times.” Additionally they warn, “If you don't enjoy celebrity-like attention, this bike is not for you.”

Thruxton is an honorary name given to a line of Triumph motorcycles for their dominating success at the Thruxton race track in Great Britain. The model blends the nostalgia of classics Triumph styling with the comfort and reliability of modern bikes. The Thruxton features Café Racer low bars with rear set foot pegs for an aggressive ride angle. A very cool racing stripe, spoke wheels and analog gauges keep the look in the classic period.

Performance comes from a 70 hp fuel injected 865 cc parallel twin engine. The power is plenty to run with the pack and the sound confirms a great exhaust doesn't need to be loud. The large front and rear disc brakes have enough stopping power to pin your cheeks to your helmet.

Just because you don't live near good places to ride shouldn't keep you from owning nice motorcycle. Our Thruxton came to us from a Miami friend. His neighborhood is noted for pot holes, traffic, and galleries. That didn't stop him from assembling a collection of a dozen or so collector bikes and an impressive assortment of supercars. This bike has only been ridden 37 miles. It is in perfect condition. We have recently serviced the bike and it is ready to take its place in your collection.

A fresher 2012 Thruxton would still be in the crate.
