1969 Chevrolet Corvette

ROTISSERIE RESTORED. #S MATCHING 350/300HP, COLD A/C, PS, PDB, SIDE EXHAUST, PRO

This beautiful C3 Corvette has recently been the subject of a very detailed body off frame restoration finished in 2022 by an NCRS member. #s matching L48 350/300hp small block, real Daytona Yellow roadster, documented with the original protect-o-plate!! Originally a south western car that was sold new in Southern California, then moved to Arizona. Check out the following detailed description.

EXTERIOR: The body is in excellent shape with no evidence of damage or cracking. Everything fits exceptionally well including the headlight and wiper doors showing perfect (better than factory) gaps. Repainted in its original Daytona yellow really makes the car POP! Upgraded with a rich looking black German cloth convertible top. Up front the chrome, grill, and lenses look new and fit really well. It still has the weather shields to protect the headlights when in the down position. The car's chrome and stainless trim look new. It has the correct rear mounted antenna and optional front fender trim in the louvers. The headlight and wiper vacuum doors open and close properly. The 15x8 rally wheels look new with new Firestone tires. The weatherstriping was all replaced including on the top. Last but not least - the factory side exhaust: It looks and sounds awesome! Very desirable feature on this car with the correct rear valance block off panels.

INTERIOR: Inside the car practically looks new. The fit and finish presents very well. New carpet front to back. The seats have a great cushion, and the upholstery looks great. The door panels were also replaced. The entire dash and console area is excellent. It has an aftermarket leather armrest cushion which adds to the cruising comfort and the power windows operate flawlessly. The deluxe steering wheel is in nice shape (non tilt/tele). It has a premium retro stereo with hands free capability and a speaker box in back with 2 speakers and a subwoofer. Interior lights all work. It still has the original jack in the rear compartment.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Wow, this motor compartment is detailed like the day it left the factory. It's also full of factory options including cold air conditioning, power steering and power brakes. The 350-300 hp motor is the original "born with" #'s matching engine. Correct casting numbers and dates, and the code matches the protect-o-plate. Correct manifolds, and the exhaust manifolds are properly dressed. Finned valve covers and the correct chrome air cleaner. Complete ignition shielding system. Correct fuel line and filter. The cooling system, radiator, shroud, and clutch fan look mint. Reproduction hoses and clamps. Everything's very neatly painted. New vacuum hose kit for the headlights and wiper doors.

UNDERSIDE: During the restoration, the body was removed from the frame and the chassis was completely restored to like new condition. The frame was stripped and powder coated black. The independent suspension front and back has been completely rebuilt. Rebuilt steering system. The brake system has been completely restored and the e-brake is hooked up and operational. Looking up at the motor it is spotless Chevy Orange. It has its "born with" Turbo 400 automatic transmission. The tag numbers match the protect-o-plate. The rear end codes match the protect-o-plate, it has a 3.08 posi, very highway friendly cruiser. The fiberglass floors are all clean and neatly painted black. It has the original spare tire carrier in place. Completely rebuilt front end. New fuel tank and sending unit.

The current owner has recently spent $5,000 to fully "sort" the car out, including a full tune, carb rebuild, new gaskets and rear main seal, he also replaced and rerouted the heater hoses, replaced the reverse light switch, replaced wiper motor, replaced the flasher can, repacked the axle bearings, lubed lock cylinders, and balanced front wheels.

This car is exceptional! The fit, finishes, and function are excellent. This car feels right. It's obvious a Corvette enthusiast restored this car, so many of the details are right. Colors and options are very impressive too. This has all the makings of an excellent investment you can enjoy!
